Rest

In You, I find rest for my troubled heart.

As I trust in You all becomes clear.

I know You lead me forward

and I will always reside with You.

You told me that in Your Father’s house

there are many dwelling places.

I look forward to the day

when I will see you face to face.

As I trust in God, I also trust in You.

And I trust that this life is only the beginning.

That beyond this earthly life

my life will continue, and I will not be alone.

My heart is not troubled when I listen to You.

I know You have gone on ahead of me

to prepare a place for me

that I might always live with You.
