Love

You have instructed us that

the highest and best way to live

is to love You with all our passion

all our prayer, all our intelligence,

and all our energy.

Teach us to love as You loved.

Open our hearts to receive Your love.

As we bring our authentic love

and give it to You openly, freely

and without restraint.

As we love our neighbor as ourselves,

we are really loving You, Your world,

Your creation of all.

There is nothing higher or of more value

then this love we offer.

God is one and without God

there is no other.

Loving God with all our heart

is so much more than sacrifice.

It is the truth.

The kingdom of God is here.

Right in our midst.

We can reach out and touch it,

see it, feel it, and embrace it,

in each other.
