Living Water

The living water

gushing up and out

from the deep to fill my soul

A long drink from the well

a bucket full to the brim

filled up, running over, satisfying

Of Spirit and truth, I drink

never to thirst again

baptized from within

Come, fill my thirsty soul

refresh my heart and mind

cleanse my weary spirit

with your ever-living water

AMEN

Let anyone who is thirsty come to me,

and let the one who believes in me drink.

As the scripture has said,

Out of the believer’s heart

shall flow rivers of living water.
